Dennis Gordon Adkinson

Dennis Gordon Adkinson, 76 of Allentown, Florida passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022. Dennis was born in Century, Florida on November 20, 1945, to Herbert & Bea Adkinson. He was a lifelong resident of Santa Rosa County who had a long career in carpentry and as a quail farmer. Dennis was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a United States Army Veteran.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Bea Adkinson and his wife, Karen Adkinson.

Dennis is survived by his three children, Corey (Beth) Adkinson, Kara (Scott) Riley and Ben Adkinson, his sister, Janet (Steve) Benton, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Mr. Adkinson’s family would like to thank the staff at WillowBrooke Court at Azalea Trace for their care and compassion for our loved one.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022, beginning at 3:00 p.m., at Calvary Baptist Church 5405 Calvary Church Road, Milton Florida 32570 with Pastor Dustin Lambert officiating. Burial to follow at the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pall bearers are Richard Thomas, Bae Lamastus, Boo Weekley, Justin Pittman, Tiger Godwin and Ricky Fretwell. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 6, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the church.
