Donnie Lou Smith
Born in Mobile, AL on 12/20/1949 was a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County. He retired as a District
Foreman with Okaloosa County after 30 years of employment.
Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, Victory and Perry Lee Smith, and his sister Vicky Robinson, all
of Baker, Florida.
He is survived by his three children, Michele Madden and husband Jason, Donna Smith, and Donovan
Smith, his sisters Betty Ward, Joann Scarpa, and Diane McLean, and niece Lisa Ward. His grandchildren
Ashlie Bond, Tyler Riggs, and great-granddaughter Raylie Bond.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Ted Jernigan speaking.
In Lieu of Flowers you may make a donation in Donnie Smith’s name to Covenant Hospice.

I will miss my brother greatly, more family to me than my own blood. This world is a sadder place without Donnie’s chuckles and laughter. I love and miss you brother, rest in peace.
