Freddie Eugene Cavett 5/20/1948 – 06/04/2022

Freddie left this world on Saturday morning to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He leaves behind a wife, Shirley Danley Cavett, stepdaughter, Tracy Diane Bouler, and two sons, David and Brian McGuire, a son, William and his wife Valarie, a foster son, Martin Humphrey, an exwife Linda Jones Cavett, and several cousins and friends.

Freddie was an only child of Pauline Miller Cavett and Granville William Cavett. He was born in Franklin Kentucky and moved to Bowling Green Kentucky as a child. He graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1967 and attended vocational school for machinist until he went into the Air Force in 1969 and he was trained as an Aircraft Mechanic. After 7 years Freddie went into Civil Service and into the Air Force Reserve at Duke Field and was a mechanic on the C130 planes. One of the planes that he repaired is currently at the Air Force Museum at Eglin Air Force Base. Freddie loved to fish, repair cars and anything broken at the house. Shirley and Freddie were a couple for twelve years and married for over four years. With Shirley, Freddie loved to go shopping, movies, going to church and walking on the beach. He was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Church, and he was endowed with the priesthood and received his Patriarchal Blessing through the Church. Freddie loved animals and children and he was very close to his German Shepherd dog, Casey. Freddie and Linda were Foster Parents for over five years.

Freddie had a big heart when my children were growing up, always doing something special for them. He was a good friend to Mike and loved to tease me. May you rest in peace!
