George Wayne Senterfitt, Sr. 78 of Crestview, passed away December 3, 2020. George was born August 4, 1942 in Laurel Hill, FL, he was a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County. He was a Veteran of the US Army and Baptist by faith.
George is survived by sons, Shannon DeWayne Senterfitt, George Wayne Senterfitt II, Brandon Kilcrease, stepson, Brandon Ellis Arnett, daughters, Shanna Georgeanne Balzamo, Jana Rayne Senterfitt.
A graveside service will be held Monday, December 14, 2020 at Reeder Cemetery, beginning at 2:00pm.

It is with my deepest sympathy and condolences that I write this. I attended high school with George at Crestview High School and we became good friends. He was one of the most gentle souls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. George was one of the kindest people anyone would want to be acquainted with and he had a heart of gold. I feel so much sadness hearing of his death. George served our country with great loyalty when he joined the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam war. May you rest in peace, George. I regret not having spent more time with you in our latter years. I wish everyone else would have seen in you the person that I knew and respected so much. Wars have taken the heart and soul of many good men who have fought for our country. God knows who you really are!
