Oh, Jake, my sweet, forever friend, I will miss you. As always, I shall love you. From 1968 when we children all played together, went to school together and grew up and our lives moved in different ways, we still remained friends. I shall miss those big bear hugs. Rest peacefully, baby.

Jake was such an amazing person. He had a huge, caring and giving heart. He never put himself above anyone and was the first too lend a hand..he never knew a stranger. Always had the gift to just strike up a conversation with anyone. He loved to pull pranks and enjoyed a good laugh. God knows we had our share of them. Fly high brother your journey has just begun.

Jake was my yard man for several years. He always did a good job. He cut them just a few days ago and we had a good talk. He said he was going to have surgery on his Kidney but did not know when yet.. I sure will miss him.

R.I.P Mr.Phillips. The first time Victoria took me to meet you instantly made me laugh. You were a kind soul and a gentle giant. Walk with our father and rest high on the mountain.

Love,
Mary Rice

Sorry to hear this. He will be greatly missed. Everybody loved them Coney Island burgers with the secret sauce. You did good with that concoction of special stuff. GOD SPEED SIR. HEAVEN has gained another ANGEL.
