James Bart Lucas, P.E., a devout Christian, US Navy veteran of WWII, graduate of the University of Alabama, Florida Professional Engineer No. 15660, surveyor, beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, mentor, and a friend to everyone. Jim died peacefully with his wife at his side at their home in Crestview, Florida December 2, 2022, at the age of 95.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Shamblin Cemetery, McCalla, AL on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

All the times Bart held you in his arms giving you safety. Think on that. Remember all the great times traveling and small things that mean so much. You are stronger than you think, but this is all compassion. BE gentle with yourself. Love you with all my heart. Gail and John
