John B Senterfitt, 84 of Crestview, passed away, Wednesday, August 26, 2020. John was born July 5, 1936 in Laurel Hill and was a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County. John was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of Central Baptist Church, a retired Trim Carpenter, he also enjoyed fishing.
John is preceded in death by his parents Ben & Susie Senterfitt, his brother Emil, and two sisters Lorean & Ruby. He is survived by his best friend and companion Sue Wooldridge and her family, his brother George W Senterfitt and nephew Shannon.
A Graveside service will be held Monday, August 31st at 9:00AM at Reeder Cemetery in Laurel Hill, FL with Pastor Johnnie Jackson officiating.

He will be miss at Shoal Creek Rehab. John was very friendly and caring person. I remember when John and Sue had their first date it was on Sue birthday.

You and I were always close when I was a little girl all the way until Granny passed away. Every time someone says my middle name I think of you teasing me and telling me that was my name. You have other nieces and nephews who loved you greatly and were deeply upset about not being notified about your passing. Jana, Wayne, and I and your great nephew Shannon Jr. may have been intentionally left out of your obituary, but she can never take away the fond memories and love we will always have for you!
