Judy Lee Davis

Judy Lee Davis 73, of Laurel Hill, Florida passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023. Judy was born on April 17, 1950 to Nolan and Katie Tyner in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She lived in Fort Walton Beach/Destin area as a young child, her dad was a boat captain/owner of a deep sea charter boat named Little Martha, after many years dad sold the boat and the family moved on their farm in Laurel Hill which is where Judy was raised.  Judy was a 1968 graduate of Laurel Hill High School and pursued a career in administration with the civil service on Eglin AFB being her last job and was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Laurel Hill, Florida.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Nolan E. Tyner and Katie Reese Tyner, her brothers, Waylon Tyner and David Tyner, her niece, Geri Jones, her grand nephew, Stephen King, her ex husband, Larry Davis and her brother in law, Ferrin Campbell Jr.

Judy is survived by her son, Dale Davis, her brothers, Charles “Pete” Tyner (Linda) and Billy Tyner (Margie), her sisters, Joann Manasco (Rube), Katy Shepard (Ric) and Mildred Campbell along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 beginning at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Mike McVay officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
