Lowell D. Jones, age 76, of Milton, passed away on Friday, June 24, at his home. He was born on October 8, 1945 in Walton County, Florida to Rubrey D. & Gladys Elaine Brown Jones. Lowell was raised and grew up in the sleepy little fishing town of Destin that he loved. Lowell was a proud veteran of the US Army and a retired Merchant Seaman. He was a member of the West Milton Church of Christ. Lowell was a history buff, enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking and computers.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Taylor.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years Audrey King Jones
a son Andrew Jones and a grandson Ian Jones
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, at 9:00AM at the Gulf Cemetery, 1466 South County Hwy 393, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459, with Minister Randy Missildine officiating.
The family requests that flowers be omitted, and contributions be made to the West Milton Church of Christ, 5300 US-90, Pace, FL 32571, in memory of Lowell D. Jones

Audrey, Lowell was a proud American and strong Patriot. He is at rest now, no more pain and all is well with his soul. Every detail you have provided for the care of your husband has not gone unnoticed. Our prayers and love to you and the family as you transition through this difficult time.
