Mida Faye Cadenhead, 80, of Crestview, Florida gained her angel wings surrounded by family and friends on February 27, 2023. She was born September 26, 1942 in Defuniak Springs, Florida. Her love was people. Always lending a helping hand whenever and wherever she was needed. From working as a Candy striper to working for several different local doctor offices, then graduating from CNA school in 1996 to starting the opening for Shoal Creek Rehabilitation Center where she went from CNA to Lead CNA where she later retired.  While maintaining this career she was also a devoted wife and mother. Married to her husband Ralph Cadenhead of 52 years. If you would ask anyone to describe Faye Cadenhead they would say she was a kind,loving and  generous soul.
She was preceded in death by her parents,Thomas Floyd and Eunice Rae McDonald, brothers Thomas Ray and Robert McDonald, and husband Ralph Cadenhead. She is survived by brothers; Russell McDonald of Crestview, Florida and Dean and Georgeann McDonald of Baker, Florida. Sisters; Emily and Gerald Maloy of Crestview, and Sue Hooks of Crestview, 3 children; Les Cadenhead, Cheree and Paul DelPozo, and Melissa and Dennis Brooks; 12 grandchildren; Steven DelPozo, Allyson DelPozo, Travis DelPozo, Aubrey Brooks, Autum Cadenhead, Dalton Brooks, Reed Brooks, Crisslyn Brooks, Ashlyn Brooks, Gracyn Jernigan, Reagan Cadenhead, and Addalyn Cadenhead. 7 Great grandchildren; Kaydence DelPozo, Kyleigh DelPozo, Trenton DelPozo, Tanner DelPozo, Colton DelPozo, Elijah Settles, and Raelyn Brooks.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Donnie Cadenhead saying a prayer.

I remember her! She was so kind and caring! I worked with her at Shoal Creek! I loved working with her! She had a heart as big as gold! Fly high Miss Faye! To the family im sorry for your loss!
