Nola Faye Madden, long time resident of the Crestview and Laurel Hill area journeyed to her heavenly home on January 11, 2022.
She is survived by her three children, Dianne Mallini (Tom) of Big Canoe, Georgia, Karen Hoffman of Denver, Colorado, and Steve Madden of Crestview. Nola is blessed with 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grand. She is also survived by her younger sister, Lorene Ellis Gomillion (Willie) of Ponce de Leon.
She is pre-deceased by her parents Nison and Viola Story, her husband Curtis Madden, Jr., and her sister, Nell Lyell.
Nola worked most of her career starting as a switchboard operator and Operator Services Supervisor for Centel and retiring as Repair Services Supervisor for Sprint.
Her favorite past times included feeding and watching her many varieties of birds and working in her flower gardens.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday January 13, 2022, beginning at 2:00 p.m., at Clear Springs Cemetery 1284 Hwy 85 North Laurel Hill Florida 32567, with Rev. Dan Newton officiating.
