Robert “Monk” Trutt a lifelong native of Mary Esther, Florida passed away at the age of 43 Wednesday, March 1, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Robert was born on March 16, 1979, in Fort Walton Beach Florida to Janet Hacker. He was a commercial electrician with Bastian Solutions.
Robert loved life and everything it had to offer. He enjoyed traveling all over the country. Was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed restoring his GMC Sierra and anything outdoors along with spending time with his family whenever possible.
Robert was a loving and devoted husband to Nicki and a great supporter to her daughters. He was the best “Dog” dad who spoiled his pups endlessly. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Janet Hacker, Uncle Jim Hacker, grandfather, Wilbert Hacker, grandmother, Marjory Hacker.

Nikki he was one of my best friends. Even though I didn’t get to know him as well as I would have liked. He was always ready to do whatever you ask of him. He was a trooper.
