November 03, 1956~September 27, 2023

Robert Eugene (Baby Gene) Fenoff passed away on Wednesday 27th September 2023. He was the son of Joe and Carol Fenoff and brother to James Fenoff, Rodney Fenoff, Joey Fenoff, Robin Merrill, Terry Fenoff and Cindy Hill.

He is also survived by his adopted family Darrel and Cindy Blocker and their sons and daughter, Josh, Derrick and Shea Blocker.

Baby Gene was born in Crestview, Florida on November 3, 1956 at the old Enzor Hospital and delivered by the late Dr Rhett Enzor. He attended Crestview High School. He worked many years alongside his Father at Insul Pack. He joined Auburn Water System in June of 1984 and retired in December 2021, receiving the Longevity Award for many years of service.

Baby Gene was all things old cars and Hot Rods. He was a long-time member of the Lake Jackson Cruisers in Florala, Alabama and one of the establishing members of the current Spanish Trail Cruisers. Above all Gene loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. When not working he was always found in a tree stand somewhere or scouting out the best fishing spot around. He could be found most mornings gathered around a table of good friends at the Tropical Palm restaurant. He did have a good story line on just about anything in Crestview. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all.

A visitation of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, October 4, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service.

Gene,

You will be missed by many. I know I won’t be able to sit at the “liar’s table” at the TP without expecting you to walk through the back door.

I will also miss our chance-encounter lunches out and about; and every time I open a can of Margaret Holmes vegetables you will be remembered.

Rest in peace, my friend!

I remember Gene when he lived behind us in Crestview back in the early 70’s. He would always keep us kids in the neighborhood laughing. My condolences.

Being the baby sister of Gene, I have witnessed and seen a lot from snakes brought to the house to him wrecking things and fixing things and all his jokes played on me. There never was a dull moment when Gene was around. I love you brother. Rest now in The arms of our dear Lord
