Stuart Duane Campbell

October 10, 1970~July 20, 2023

Stuart Duane Campbell, age 52, of Crestview, FL passed away unexpectedly on Thursday July 20, 2023.

Stuart was born on October 10, 1970, in Crestview, Florida to Duane and Brenda Campbell.

Stuart graduated from Crestview High School in 1988.  He was a sheet metal mechanic at Looney & Sons and EJM Aerospace prior to opening his own sign business, Finishline Signs and Graphics.  Some of his special employees became “adopted” daughters to this day.  He loved them and treated them like his own.

Stuart’s true love was the dirt track.  He has racing in his blood.  He and his dad raced together, built chassis, and motors for over 18 years.  There wasn’t a Saturday night they weren’t at a racetrack.  Stuart quit racing in 2002 to invest his time and energy in his new business.  He loved designing and creating.  He loved making customers happy and seeing them smile.

Stuart never met a stranger. He was a big guy with a big heart who loved his family and friends fiercely.  To know him was to love him.  If he didn’t pick on you, he didn’t love you.  He always had the last word.  He will be greatly missed by so many people and never forgotten.

Stuart is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Langston Campbell.

Stuart is survived by his father, Duane Donald Campbell, his wife, Suzan McClure Campbell, his sister, Kristy Campbell Stewart (Greg), favorite nephew, Christopher Robert Stewart and he was a perfect dog dad to Abby.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at The Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service.
