Teresa Marie Garrett 56, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at home in Crestview, Florida. Teresa was born on June 3, 1967 in Niceville, Florida to Paul and Donna Garrett. She was a 1985 Crestview High School Graduate and a lifelong resident of Crestview, Florida. Teresa worked at Jay’s Gun Shop as the Sales Manager as was loved by all her customers.
Teresa is preceded in death by her son, Scott Garrett, her grandparents, Neda and David Herndon and Robert and Alphis Garrett, her nephew, Chris Garrett, her uncle, Donnie Garrett and her aunt, Joyce Griner.
Teresa is survived by her daughters, Nikki L. Grimes and Sylvia M. Phinney, her granddaughter, Lacey Woods, her brothers, Gary DeWayne Garrett and James D. Deavers, her sister, Michelle Garrett, her Uncles, Roger (Gaye) Garrett, Charles Garrett, Michael Garrett and James Woods, Cecil (Eileen) Herndon, her aunt, Nita Garrett and Dorothy (Jim) Rainwater and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday August 10, 2023 beginning at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Jeb Warren officiating. Burial to follow at Dorcas Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
