Timothy Norman Brown 69, of Holt, Florida passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023. Tim was born on Christmas Eve in 1953 to Russell and Emma Brown in Oakland, California. Tim joined the Navy in 1973 to then move to Escambia County in the spring of 1979 and after ten years moved to Okaloosa County and had been a resident ever since.
Tim was a chemical spray technician with Rocky Bayou Country Club for twenty eight years and then worked for Blackstone Country Club where he then retired after a few years. Tim enjoyed being outdoors as much as possible. He loved going out on the boat, camping, exploring different campsites and spending time with his fur baby, Smokey. Tim loved sharing stories of his experiences with his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Russell Norman and Emma Marjorie Brown, his father-in-law, Edward Nichols.
Tim is survived by his wife, Anita Marie Brown, his son, Nathaniel Norman Brown, his daughter, Eileen Marie Brown, his sisters, Susan P. Strickland and Patricia M. McGrath.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, beginning at 10:00 am at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.
