Timothy Wayne Swaney

June 15, 1973~September 26, 2021

Timothy Wayne Swaney, 48 of Crestview Florida passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021. Timothy was born in Okeechobee, Florida on June 15, 1973, to Mansel and Loda Mae Swaney. He moved to Crestview from Okeechobee and was an overnight stocker at Winn Dixie. Tim was a man of enjoyment, of pleasurable moments with family and friends. Whether he was watching his Miami Dolphins and Hurricanes or sitting down to a bonfire having a drink and listening to classic rock, he lived his life to its fullest. Even when he was mad or sad, those feelings never lasted long. His family took him fishing on Crab Island, and a saltwater catfish bit his hand, and for a moment, he was mad so mad he threw that fish back in the water like a baseball. All the while, his family laughed. And that brought him joy, even if he swore, he’d never touch another fish. Tim loved God and loved his wife, Kat with his whole heart. He loved unconditionally, and if someone needed help, he’d do what he could to help. Although his heart failed its wordly purpose, he always had enough heart for family and humor. His life is a story not soon forgotten by those that loved him.

Timothy is preceded in death by his parents, Mansel and Loda Swaney, brother, Brian Keith Swaney, sisters, Wilma Frances Canterll, Ella May Sammons.

Timothy is survived by his wife Roberta Kathleen Swaney, son, Keith Jerome Carnley Jr., daughter, Felicia Nichole Carnley, four brothers, Clarence Kenneth Swaney, Mansel William Swaney Jr., James Eugene Swaney, sister, Ruth Anne Sampson and four grandchildren.

I met Tim at tye convenience store down the street. My hi6sband had died and I was alone the first time in 34 year’s. I couldn’t get my hood up to.add oil in my car and Tim did it.

Turned out I lived in the house he used to live in and there were alot of scary sounds at night. Tim told me it was haunted and teased me constantly about it, lol!

The last time I saw Tim he told me he was the happiest he had ever bern.in his life because of his wife Kat. That made me smile. I am glad Tim’s last couple year’s were his happiest. He deserved it! Terribly sorry for his loss. Condolences to his family and lovely wife. Fly high Tim and thanks for helping an old lady!
