Tommy Godwin, age 72 of Wing, Alabama passed away on February 21, 2023 in Andalusia, Alabama. Born on August 10, 1950 in Crestview, Florida to the late Raleigh and Christine (Nichols) Godwin. He was a Navy Veteran and a devout member of Rock Creek Assembly of God Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by mother-in-law Doris McLelland, brother Larry, and nephew Brian McLelland.
He is survived by wife, Carolyn; children Addison and Mary Godwin and Carla and John Wells; grandchildren Brenton and Haven; father-in-law JD McLelland; brothers, Carl and wife Patti, Harold and wife Kay, and Danny and wife Dana; brother-in-law Rex McLelland and wife Terri; 1 nephew, 5 nieces, 8 great-nephews and 4 great-nieces.
Visitation will be held at Rock Creek Assembly of God Church on Saturday, Feb 25th from 2-3PM and a service will immediately follow at 3PM with Pastor David Elliott, Pastor Avon Fowler, and Pastor Jean Spikes officiating. Military burial will follow at the church.

Aww, Carolyn, I am SO Sorry I did not know of this until now. 😥 I am sending my sincerest condolences to you and your family.
