Troy E. Carpenter, 82 of Crestview Florida passed away Sunday January 30, 2022. Mr. Carpenter was born on December 10, 1939, in Loam, Kentucky to Emmitt and Radie Carpenter. Troy moved here to Okaloosa County from Davenport Florida and was a retired welder along with an evangelist and a singer/songwriter.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt and Radie Carpenter, his son, Randy Troy Carpenter, his brothers, Clinton and Dester Carpenter.
Troy is survived by his wife, Betty Carpenter, his daughters, Tammy (Don) Taylor and Renae (Oliff) Weeks, his brother, Charles Carpenter, his sisters, Wilma Lemons, Carol Thames, Brenda Waire, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, beginning at 11:00 am, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, with Pastor Ron Williamson Officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
