Victoria Jeanette Melvin 87, of Holt, Florida passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023.
Victoria was born on July 22, 1935, in Blackman, Florida to Richard and Martha Odom.
As a lifelong resident of North Okaloosa County, Florida, Victoria had retired with Monsanto as a Draw Twist Operator in 1990 after thirty-five years of faithful service.
Victoria was a member of First Baptist Church of Holt and attended Red Oak Baptist Church with her daughter. She loved spending time with family and friends along with watching her favorite westerns.
Victoria is preceded in death by her husband, John A. Melvin, her parents, Richard and Martha Odom, four brothers, Cleve, Abron, James and Leamon, two sisters, Annette Kelly and Eleanor Odom.
Victoria is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Dale) Finkel, her sister, Edna Bryan, her nephew, Raymon Melvin, her two grandchildren, Donna (Ron) Vlasic and Jaclyn (Brian) Ware, three great grandchildren, Reanna Vlasic, Nathan Welle and Brody Ware.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Tasha, TK and Silvercrest Nursing Home for their wonderful care of Mrs. Victoria Melvin.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Holt Cemetery in Holt Florida, with Pastor Ronnie Sells officiating.
