June 14, 2021~April 09, 2024

God blessed us, On 14 June 2021, our little angel Alaric George Walker Barbecho was born. A beautiful little boy, from the very beginning, we knew he was a special gift from God. Alaric, “Alec” we called him, he was a Cov-19 baby, he got Cov-19 about 4 times.

Alaric was full of life like a typical daddy’s little boy, for the first two years, then he became Mommie’s little boy, he loved playing with trucks, watching shows about big trucks, and he loved fire trucks the most. He owned about 20 of them, most of them picked up at yard sales. He enjoyed riding his little tractor all over our yard, giving our little dogs rides on his little tractor’s trailer against their will I must say. Most of all Alec loved playing outside chasing our dogs, running after the chickens, getting on the back of our great Dane dog, pulling its ears playing in the dirt running bare foot, getting candy from the cashier ladies at the CEFCO gas station near the house, and once in while taking candy and stuffing it under his shirt because he knew Mommie wouldn’t let him have it. Alec was a beautiful, wonderful boy, full of energy and life.

Alaric was a protector by nature, he would never let his dad yell or even get close to his siblings, when he knew dad was upset. He would get upset and even angry at dad, when he heard conversations between mom and dad getting loud, 10 times out of 10 he would take mommies side no matter what the circumstances were. He loved taking care of grandma, he loved bringing her plates of food and cups of water. He would get upset if someone else did it.

Alec was a special gift from God, and we knew it, when the questions, decision came before us to donate his organs, it was just something unthinkable at that moment, it was just too much to deal with, we were hurting, we were in so much pain.  We couldn’t decide, it seemed impossible to even think about extending the pain any longer, but we knew God sent him to us for a reason a purpose, he had a purpose to fulfill, a mission to accomplish, bringing our family together was just part of it. I know our little angel loved protecting and caring for others. Alec’s life will go on. Thanks to our little angel, 2 other babies and an adult got a second chance to live.

The almighty God let us have our little angel for a wonderful 2 years and 9 months, and we will always be grateful for it. We don’t know, and don’t understand why his life was cut short.  The question will always be there of what his life could have been, and we will never know, but we do know is that God had and has plan for our little angel.  We also know that as hard as it is for us to accept his departure from us, he is in a much better place, and he will be waiting and praying for us.

God bless you our little angel, we will forever love you and miss you. Mom, dad, brothers, sister, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends are gathered today not to say goodbye to you, but to tell you “Alaric George Walker Barbecho we will see you soon”.

I’m am so sorry for your loss… I am going to miss his random FaceTime calls. He once set the phone up so that he could show me his fire truck (like a professional YouTuber). I love the way he would make his voice go deep when he was serious about getting what he wanted. He was a special little boy with a big personality. He will never be forgotten ♥️
