Albert Warren Faircloth, 78 of Crestview, Florida, went to be with the Lord December 3, 2023, surrounded by family at his home.  Albert was born on April 20, 1945, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to J.T. and Bernice Faircloth.  He was a lifelong resident of Crestview and served his community as a City Councilman for two terms and as a Funeral Director for more than 40 years.   As a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Crestview, he ministered as a Sunday school teacher, deacon, choir member, and chairperson of the building and grounds committee. Albert’s main priority was his love for the Lord Jesus and leading his family to establish a relationship with Christ by placing their faith and trust in Him.  He is preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Ret. Col. John T. (Jack) Martin Jr. and brother and sister-in-law, Douglas, and Jan Faircloth. He leaves behind a loving family including his wife, Gayle, of 55 years and two sons Jerrod (Heather), Justin (Alana), grandchildren Elliott, Anna Grace, Caleb and Abigail, sister Beth Martin and brother Christopher (Lorna) Faircloth. 

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 1 pm at First Baptist Church of Crestview, Florida, a celebration of life ceremony will follow at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the building fund of First Baptist Church, Crestview Florida.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will have fond memories of Albert always.when I was young I stayed with Albert and Gail at the apartment they stayed in at the Funeral Home. And loved them dearly. If there is any I can do just let me know.

My heart goes out to one of the finest families I have known through 45 years of ministry. Albert and Gail are among our closest friends. My grief is for Gail and the boys because they will miss him so terribly. Albert is with the Lord, with a new body free of pain. Rest in that family.

Mr. Was a tremendous help
To us when my father passed away. He was very caring and compassionate man our sympathy to his wife and children. Crestview had lost another friend.

God is so good to allow us to have known Mr. Faircloth and his family. My heart breaks and rejoices at the same time for you all. Heaven just got sweeter knowing he is there. I love you all and pray that God would comfort you by wrapping you tightly in his arms and give you peace.

I didn’t know Mr Albert. However Mrs.Gsyle was my 3rd grade teacher at. Orthwood and Jan Faircloth was my 5th grade teacher at Northwood. Sorry for your loss Mrs.Gayle. May God wrap his loving arms around ypu at such a sad time… 😔
