Carl Wayne Gomillion, born April 20, 1936, passed away February 7, 2020, Wayne was 83 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaiah and Adelia Courtney Gomillion, Three brothers, James E. Gomillion, Cecil Gomillion, and Joel Gomillion, two sisters, Dora Mae Hobbs and Myrtice Kirkland. He is survived by his wife of 50 plus years, Betty Gomillion, three sisters, Mae Sauls, Lucy Hickox (Wiley), and Jean Smith, serval nieces and nephews.
Wayne’s wife Betty has been at Crestview Nursing home for serval years and is unable to attend the service today. Wayne spent most of his working career as a truck driver, over a period of 50 years he had logged over a million miles without a chargeable accident.
A private family service was held Tuesday, February 11, 2020.
