Catherine Chesser, 83 of Crestview, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021. Ms. Chesser was born December 27, 1937, in Port Clinton, Ohio then she relocated to Crestview in 1968 and has been a resident ever since. She was a seamstress with Alatex before attending Pensacola Junior College to be a medical assistant with Crestview Medical Clinic for many years. Catherine was a member of Dorcas Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting, quilting and working in her yard.
Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Gordan and Vivian Peterson, her husband, Frank Chesser Sr., her brother, Jimmy Peterson. Catherine is survived by her children, Grace (Errol) Crain of Crestview Florida, Ruth (Gil) Hughes of Calabash, North Carolina, Mary (Gary) Watts of Independence, Kansas, Patty (Taylor) Crain of Crestview, Florida, Eddie (Deanna) Chesser of McBee, South Carolina, Sue (Leo) Crain of Crestview, Florida, Tommy (Lisa) Chesser of Crestview, Florida, her siblings, Sonny Peterson of Port Clinton, Ohio, Danny Peterson of Crestview Florida, Dianne (Richard) Wylie of Port Clinton, Ohio, Karen Peterson of Crestview, Florida, Roger Peterson of Crestview Florida, Nineteen Grandchildren, Thirty Nine Great Grandchildren and Nine Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, beginning at 5:00pm, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, with Pastor David Ellis officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 8th from 4 to 5 pm at the funeral home.

So sorry to hear about Catherine’s passing, I worked with Catherine many years back, but before that, I met her through her Daughter Mary. Catherine was a very hard working lady always on the move. Thinking of you Mary and all the other family members.
