Christina “Tina” Louise Austie 48, of Crestview, Florida passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Tina was born on May 17, 1975, in New York, New York to Louis and Susan Greany Austie and moved to Crestview, Florida when she was five.
Tina was a beautiful soul inside and out; her smile was infectious and everyone who met her loved her. Tina was a trainer at Waffle House where she worked most of her adult life. She really enjoyed all the different types of conversations that come with the job, making lifetime friendships and working at a place where it’s always something different.
Tina is preceded in death by her father, Louis Austie Jr, her paternal grandfather Louis Austie, her paternal step-grandfather, William Goodwin, her paternal grandmother, Josephine (Austie) Goodwin, her maternal grandparents, John and Crystal Greany and her grandson, Liam Woolum.
Tina is survived by her mother, Susan Ann Greany Wilson and step-dad Brian, her sons, Zachariah Alan Kinchen and Timothy Jacob Commee, her daughters, Crystal Faith Commee Stewart and Lilyann Louise Triplett, her brothers, Louis Austie III and John Harley Austie (Vanessa), her sister, Sherrie Lynn Lee (Ronald), her nieces, Hillary Noel Josey (Shawn), Holly Nicole Lee (Jimmy Huckabee), Madison Dixie Stanley (Maximus Brace), Layla Austie, Phoebe Austie, Harley Austie, Mikayla Austie, Emily Gabriel “Gabby” Austie, her grandchildren, Carter Woolum, Mason Martin and Elizabeth Commee, her nephews, Benjamin Nicholas Lee (Courtney), Christopher John Stanley and Louis Austie IV, her and her paternal Uncles, Darryl Austie and his wife Georgette, Rome, NY; William Goodwin and his wife Juliana, Danby, VT; Aunt, Carol Starr and her husband Doug, Forestburgh, NY; cousins Khara Austie, Alexa Goodwin, Sarah Goodwin, LoriAnn Fredericks and Jesse Zahora.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Michelle Hannah officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Tina will forever be in our hearts. She was the most wonderful waitress any one could ask for. She always greeted us with the biggest smile that would light up Waffle House. We will never forget what a wonderful person she was. Prayer to all her loved ones she leaves behind. Go sweet lady and fly with the Angels. Prayers . We will never forget you lady we love you.
