Daniel Ray Stroheker, age 33 of Baker, Florida went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. He was born on 29 October 1990. Daniel was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ray and Lillian Barnes, paternal grandmother Carla Thomas and Uncle, Ray Lynn Barnes. He is survived by his grandfather Richard Stroheker, parents Angela and Bill Stroheker, sister Brandee Weaver, son Joshua and his best friend and fiancé, Judy Williamson. He also had numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. His close friends were unnumerable.

Daniel lived in Baker all his life. He attended Joy Fellowship, accepted Christ, and was baptized at age 15. He attended Tall Pines Academy, Baker High School and was home schooled in his final school years. Daniel enjoyed working with his hands and being outside. He could build and fix just about anything. He learned from his dad at a young age the art of construction and made a living at what he enjoyed. Daniel lived off the grid close to Blackwater River. When not working, Daniel liked to spend his time with his family and friends, kayaking the river, around the campfires or just hanging out in the woods. He was also an avid gamer and loved his CB.

Daniel was a friend to the end. He had a big heart and was always willing to lend a hand. He had your back. There are so many funny stories and amazing memories of Daniel that we will keep in our hearts and minds forever. He will be missed

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Community of Christ Church 398 West 1st Avenue Crestview, Florida 32536 with Brother Evan Vanderford and Della Shaw officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 1:30 p.m. – 2:00p.m. at Community of Christ Church. This will be casual dress attire.

Immediately after the Celebration of Life service the family and friends will gather for a pot luck meal at the fellowship hall at Community of Christ Church. Bring your special dish to share with everyone.

Man this is hard to believe. Brother I’m sure going miss you. You was a great friend I know we haven’t talked lately but you will always be like a brother to me. I’m going miss ya on radio. I wish now I would have stopped and hooked my CBS back up .I enjoyed cutting up with you and all gun we had when yall came over. Fly high brother fly high.
