Eva Dell Rogers, 90 of Laurel Hill Florida, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Mrs. Rogers was born March 22, 1931, in Montgomery Alabama, after moving to Okaloosa County she then became a lifelong resident. Eva retired with the Okaloosa County School District after 25+ years as a bus driver. She was also a member of South Ebenezer Church.
Eva is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Thomas Alton Rogers, her parents Henry Clanton and Carlie Easter Kelly Young, her grandson, Jeremy Rogers, her brothers, Burdell, Cecil, John Henry, James (Buck), Harry Young, Harold Young, Sister, Gladys Agerton, her best friend, Virginia Young (Ginnie).
Eva is survived by two sons, Billy Wayne (Rosie) Rogers, Terry Lynn (Janet) Rogers, three daughters, Alice Faye (David) Jackson, Pasty Marie Rogers, Sue (Derry) Kendrick, nine grandchildren, Mark Jackson, Shay Riffle, Phillip Jackson, Ashlee Gatlin, Enzor Simmons, Maegen Johnson, Jordan Rogers, Amber Clark, Ryan Simmons, nineteen great grandchildren, Taryn, Haygen, Ethan, Chloe, Jayden, Jonah, Tanner, James, J.W., Cody, Tyler, Ivy, Joie, Patrick, Owen, Zoe, Shawn, Lily, Myla, two great great grandchildren, Maelynn and Noah.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021, beginning at 2:00 pm, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, with Pastor Steve Allen officiating. Burial to follow at Old Ebenezer Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 31st from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all! What a sweet beautiful soul God called home! Heaven must be having a celebration when she arrived! Daddy Alton and all her siblings are rejoicing! My condolences to the family. I remember riding her bus a few times many many years ago at LHS. Sweet lady and some sweet memories of her.
