Franklin Carl Appleby, 87 of Panama City, passed away, Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Franklin was born August 8, 1932 in Clarksville, TN, he moved to the area in 1970.
Franklin was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War, he was an avid gardener and enjoyed working in the yard.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Appleby, two sons; Rick Appleby (Bonnie), James Appleby ( Regina), two step-sons; Donald Cooley (Kim), Richard Cooley (Theda), three brothers; Ronald (Betty), Donald (Linda), Pete (Betty), two sisters; Judy, Ann, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A private service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery for the family.

Sending my love to Florida. It has been a few years since I seen uncle Carl. I stayed with him for about two weeks that summer and had a great time and great memories.
