Gary Lloyd Powell

Gary L Powell, 71 of Florala, AL passed away Friday, January 31, 2020, in Tampa, FL. Gary was born June 09, 1948 in Hannibel, Missouri, he moved to Florala in 2014 after living in Crestview, FL for 23 years. Gary was a retired Aircraft Technician with Civil Service, he was also a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during Vietnam, he enjoyed computers and flying R.C. Airplanes.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Gail Powell, one son, Greg Powell (Sheila), one daughter, Tiffany Powell, one sister, Janice Powell, two nephews, John Yanney, Russell Yanney, one great nephew, Anthony Yanney, one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law.
Services will be held Monday, February 10, 2020 from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Harley Moye officiating, burial to follow at Old Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:30 to 11:00am at the funeral home.
