George F. Smith, age 61, of Crestview, passed away Friday, December 18. He was born on December 3, 1959 in Florala, Alabama and had lived in Okaloosa County most of his life. George was a loving husband, father, and “Poppy” and loved his lap dog Bandit. George worked as a Service Manager with NEW before medically retiring. He enjoyed Alabama Football, watching the Atlanta Braves and video gaming, especially the Flight Simulator.

Bryan & wife Madleine Smith
2 grandchildren Victoria & Hannah
and a sister Betty Hurley
A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, December 23, at 1:00 PM, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Margie Sexton Chamber officiating. Burial will follow in the Almarante Cemetery.
