Jada Elaine Grice

Our precious little angel, Jada Elaine Grice went to sleep in the arms of our Lord on November 6, 2023.

She was born prematurely May 29, 2022 and had to be rushed to Sacred Heart Hospital.  Eventually Jada was diagnosed with pulmonary and aortic valve stenosis.  Although she struggled with this rare condition, she grew into a beautiful little girl who loved to be outdoors and climb on anything she could.  She had soft, reddish, curly hair, dark eyes and her face looked like the spitting image of her father.  Her smile lit up the room and you couldn’t help but smile back as a warmth filled your very soul.  Jada stole the hearts of all how knew her and she will never be forgotten.

Jada is preceded in death by her big sister, Jocelyn Michelle Dawson, her maternal grandmother Misty Michelle Wilkinson and her paternal great-grand parents Elaine and Donald Grice.

She is survived by her father Joshua James Grice, mother Chasity Rae Wilkinson and sister Jessie Jaylen Grice.  Her paternal grandparents are Cherry Kohoutek and D G Grice.  Her maternal grandfather is Ray Wilkinson.  Jada is also survived by her maternal great-grandparents Mary Frances Settles and Maurice Settles.  Jada has a large extended family of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends too numerous to list. Last but not least, she is survived by Mimi and Poppy Garrett who loved, cared and watched over her while her mom and dad worked.

A graveside service will be held 11 am, Monday, Nov 13, 2023 at White Pines Memorial Garden in Baker, Florida with Pastor Michael Braswell officiating.  This is a new family cemetery so this address will get you close, 5302 Steele Road Baker, Florida 32531.

After the service, the family welcomes everyone to join them at the First Baptist Church of Holt, 532 Highway 90 West, Holt, Florida 32564 for a time to celebrate the life of this special little girl, Jada Elaine Grice.
