John E. (Donnie) Cox

John E. (Donnie) Cox, age 58, of Laurel Hill, passed away Friday, March 6. He was born in Florala, Alabama on February 17, 1962 and was a lifelong resident to Laurel Hill. Donnie was an expert trim carpenter and worked with his brother for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents General Redding Cox, Sr and Agnes Cox, a sister Shelby Norville and a brother Charles Cox
Survivors include his son Christopher Lee Cox
3 brothers, Jr. Cox, Morris Cox and James Cox
3 sisters, Bonnie Carroll, Clydie Hudson Boling and Marie Davis
and a host of nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to list
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 9, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Mike McVay officiating. Burial will follow in the Almarante Cemetery.
The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 until service time on Monday.
