Johnny Mack Brooks

Johnny Mack Brooks, 77, of Crestview, Florida, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021, at home with his family by his side. Mr. Brooks was born on May 7, 1944 in New Brockton, Alabama, moved here in 1954 and was a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County. He enjoyed going fishing with Little Clint and Gene Conway along with playing cards and spending time with close friends.
Johnny is survived by his wife of 58 years, Clara Brooks, Four children, Vickie (Rusty) Kelly, James (Debbie) Brooks, Larry Brooks, Dennis Brooks, Three sisters, Carolyn (John) Parrish, Sandra (Gene) Raybon, Deloris (Robert) Cox, 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021, beginning at 2:00 pm, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, with Pastor Steve Bolton officiating. Burial to follow at Live Oak Park Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home.
