Joyce Anita Barrow, 87, peacefully went home to be with the lord on Monday, September 27, 2021. She was born in Dorcas, Florida, to the parents of Alec & Lula McCallum but made her home in Crestview, Florida with her loving husband of 64 years Walter O’Neal Barrow. Joyce devoted her life to her family; she was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved being a homemaker, she was a wonderful cook, decorator, gardener and seamstress. Joyce was very talented, everything she touched became a beautiful creation.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband & love of her life, Walter O’Neal Barrow.
Joyce is survived by three children, Gayle (Jeff) Thames, Cheryl (Lewis) Simmons, Troy Barrow, seven grandchildren, Brian (Casey) Thames, Kristin (Bernie) Lynch, Trey (Danielle) Simmons, Kyler Simmons, Chase (Elizabeth) Simmons, Austin Barrow and Kaden Barrow, twelve great grandchildren, Trevor, Brett, Blaine, Landon, Peyton, Easton, Brady, Brandon, Kursten, Kaleigh, Michael, Sam and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held October 4, 2021 – 2:00pm at Lifepoint Church in Crestview, relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Visitation for family will be at 12:30 then friends at 1:00pm before service begins. Burial to follow at Live Oak Park Memorial Cemetery.
