Linda Gray, 75 of Crestview, FL passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020. Linda was born December 19, 1944 in Children’s Home in Walton County. The family moved shortly thereafter to Crestview, FL. She is a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County.
Linda was a devoted mother, aunt, sister, and friend. Linda enjoyed travelling, spending time with family and friends, doing lunch, and planning get togethers with her loved ones. Linda cherished her annual reunions of Crestview High School.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Annie Sowell, brothers: Woodrow Agerton; Fred Sowell Jr.; Eldridge Sowell, sister: Hazel Davis; Myrtle Ray; Ima Jean Sanford; Bobbie Ruth Richards
Linda is survived by her: daughter: Teri Gray Whittaker; son-in-law: Scott Whittaker; brothers: Donnie Sowell and Hollis Sanford; sister: Annie Murel Parker; grandchildren: Patrick and Lauren Whittaker: longtime friends Donald and Sharon Jennings; numerous beloved nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces.

Linda’s life will be celebrated on Friday, June 12 at Brackney Funeral Services
On Friday, June 12, services will be held at Brackney Funeral Home beginning at 2:00pm. Following, Linda will be laid to rest at Live Oak Park Memorial Cemetery in Crestview, FL with her parents. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
