Lizzie Martin Kelley, 93 of Crestview Florida, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, at home with her family at her side. Mrs. Kelley was born August 14, 1928, in Escambia Farms to Jim W. and Sarah Kennedy. Lizzie was a lifelong resident of Crestview being a housewife, working with the City of Crestview, managing several gas stations & recreational halls along with her husband Junior Kelley. She was a member of Sonlight Church and being the outgoing person she was she had never met a stranger. Lizzie’s hobbies where sewing, fishing, camping, tending to her flowers in her garden, but most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Lizzie is preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Hart and James (Jim) Wright Kennedy, her first husband, Charlie Melvin Martin, her second husband, Junior Kelley, her infant daughter, daughter Arlene Chilton, sons, Carson, Cody, Michael and Charles Martin, brother Bruce Kennedy, sisters, Ilene Peak, Betty Lee and Twin sister Lily Kennedy.
Lizzie is survived by her sons, Carlos Martin, Mitchell Martin, Andy Davis, Bobby Kelley, daughters, Nadine Smith, Wanda Ratliff, Rhonda Walker, her best friend Beth Jenkins, thirty grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2021, beginning at 11:00 am, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, with Brother Butch Helms officiating. Burial to follow at Dorcas Cemetery, Crestview Florida. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 22nd from 10-11am.

I meant her granddaughter Toni Helms at Hardee’s in 1991 and I also meant her grandmother Lizzy Martain Kelly she was a very awesome and sweet lady she had some spunk to her she was fun in the gun, I’m glad I got to meet her I will miss her lots. She will be well missed. My Condolences goes out to the family.
