Lowell Cooper

Lowell Cooper, 84 of Crestview, passed away in his home in Elba, Alabama with family at his bedside. Lowell was born on December 24, 1936, to David and Minnie Cooper in Sylacauga, Alabama. He served in the United States Air Force from 1956- 1976 Retired Rank Master Sgt. E7 Aircraft Maintenance Technician. Lowell enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He was one of a kind and will be remembered of how much he loved his country.
Lowell is preceded in death by both of his parents, David and Minnie Lee Cooper, sisters, Elizabeth Whitt, Clarie Tidwell and Myrtle Bradley.
Lowell is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jewell Dean Cooper, two children, Lowell (April) Cooper Jr. and Cheryl Dean (Neil Gene) Gates, grandsons, Joshua Lowell (Crissy) Cooper, James Brandon Cooper, Jonathan Michael Gates, granddaughters, Jessica Lauren (Daniel) Lessard, Christi Lynn (Eric) Bludsworth, great grandsons, Luke Lessard, Elijah Gates, Bryce Bludsworth, Jayce Bludsworth, great granddaughter, Sianna Gates.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021, beginning at 2:00 p.m., from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, with Brother Buck Dockery officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 5th from 1 – 2 pm at the funeral home.
