Mary Louise Smith, age 75, of Crestview, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, November 13, at her home, surrounded by family. She was born on June 26, 1948 in Ponce de Leon, Florida to Will & Flossie Hurley. Mary was raised in Fargo, Georgia and moved to Crestview in 1967. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed taking care of her family, cooking, fishing and gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years Edward Smith
4 children Connie Smith, Vickie Smith, William Glen Smith (Valerie), Raymond Lamar Smith (Jacqueline)
1 Brother, Earnest Hurley
3 Sisters, Dennie Manning, Gloria Simmons, Maggie Jernigan (Larry)
7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 16, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, with Brother Warren Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Reeder Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 15, from 5PM until 7PM at the funeral home.
The family would like to say a Special Thanks to Gentiva Hospice, especially the nurses, Sara Tyler, Chloe & Jackie Smith for their care.

I am so happy I had the chance to meet Mrs. Smith. She was so nice and very friendly to me even though she was having a rough time she didn’t show it. My condolences to the whole family especially Mr. Smith, Vickie, Connie, Glen & Lamar. My thoughts are with you all.
