Michael Charles Mohrbacher of Crestview, FL passed away 3 January 2021. He was born 1
August 1943 to Charles and Mary Mohrbacher of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from
Warroad High School in Warroad, Minnesota. He would go on to join the Air Force, serving over
30 years as a C-130 Crew Chief and then cross training as a Flight Engineer. While serving, he
would meet his wife Rosa Mohrbacher, and after a courtship they got married. He would retire
as a Chief Master Sergeant out of Hurlburt Field, FL. During retirement, he would perform jobs
including driving 18 wheelers, security at L3 Communications, and finally as a driver for Caring
Hearts in Crestview FL. Together with his wife they would raise their son Cory.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Mohrbacher.
Michael is survived by his children Cory, Scott, and Tracy, sister Dolly and brother Pat, as well
as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 19 January 2021, 4-6pm at Brackney Funeral Home,
Crestview FL. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 19 January 2021, following the visitation at
Brackney Funeral Home. Military Honors will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, 20 January
2021 followed by burial at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola FL.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with your dad for a while at L3, and he was a tough but fair supervisor.

So sorry to find out about his passing. Michael was my crew chief on C-130E 64-0550 at Pope AFB from April, 1969 to April 1970.
