July 27, 1965~March 26, 2021

Nick Dills, age 55, passed away at his home in Crestview, Florida, on Friday, March 26th,2021. Nick was a native of Franklin, North Carolina, and was proudly born to Jerry F. and Nina N. Dills.

Nick was known as a master craftsman and artist. He had the ability to build a house from the ground up mostly by himself, build all the furniture, and then draw a few pictures to hang on the walls. He was an amazingly talented man who was always happy and willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help.

Nick loved working on his farm and was content in leading a quiet, simple life. He loved telling stories about the projects he was working on, finding humor in everything, and giving his listeners a big laugh. He was kind, gentle, funny, and was always dreaming about his next big project.

Nick loved his family deeply and was simply adored by them and by his friends. He was a husband, father, brother, and son, and he will be remembered as the (G.O.A.T) “greatest of all time.” He was the glue that unified many, a foundation that was strong and dependable.

Nick was predeceased by his father, Jerry F. Dills, and his father-in-law, Thomas M. Andrews. Left with many wonderful memories of a life well-lived are his beloved wife and children Jennifer Dills, John and Jessica Fordin, and Torie and Brookelin Dills; his mother, Nina Dills, his sister and brother-in-law, Mitzi and David Warman; his nephews, Hunter Warman, Tyler and wife, Kendall Warman; great-nephew, Jace Warman; niece, Anna Rose Warman; and his family from the compound that he maintained were his Mother & Father in law, Virginia and Bob Kahn, brothers-in-law, Mikey Andrew’s and Brian Kahn, and Aunt Chaz and Uncle Norm Deutsch and many other extended family and friends.

He is gone but never forgotten, and we will cherish and honor his legacy by having A memorial service that will be held on Thanksgiving day 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at his home in Crestview, Fl.

Please contact his daughter Jessica who is honored to have anyone join them to share food and stories and to spread his ashes – her ph # is 863-513-0081.
