Rebecca (Becky) Ann Williams 78, of Crestview, Florida passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024.

Becky was born on April 6, 1945, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Ed and Viola Gevers.

Becky was raised in the small farming town of Arcola, Indiana where she graduated from Arcola High
School in 1963. After studying to pursue a teaching degree at Ball State University, Becky met her future
husband Clyde (Dean) Williams, an Airman in the US Air Force.

They wed on Dec 4, 1965, and thus was the start of Becky being a military spouse. Together over the
next 30 years they had several different assignments. They welcomed their first son Philip in 1967 in
Germany and their second son Corey in 1976 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. During these different assignments
Becky held many jobs as bookkeeper and as an Administrative Assistant.

After receiving the final assignment of Dean’s career, they moved to Crestview in 1983. Becky then went
to work in the Mortgage and Loan Department at First Bank of Crestview, then later went to work at
Okaloosa Title Company where she retired. However, Becky being the people person she was and
wanting public interaction, she became an Assistant Manager with Nugget Oil in Milligan. Becky made
the decision to retire for good when Dean became ill.

Becky was an avid bowler and enjoyed her bowling leagues and travelling with “the girls” to different
tournaments across the state.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents Edmund and Viola Gevers, her husband of 53 years Clyde D.
Williams and her brother Duane R. Gevers.

Becky is survived by her sons Philip (Cheryl) Williams of Bay Minette, AL and Corey (Lovelyn) Williams of
Freeport, FL. Her sister Shelly (Terry) Lamb of Santee, SC. Grandchildren Madison Williams, Autumn
(Jon) Coster, Tommy (Haley) Silva and Heather (Chris) Lott and 9 great grandchildren.

Our families were close as our fathers were brothers. This gave us an opportunity to enjoy each other as cousins and friends. The memories I have will live happily in my heart forever. I pray the family will find comfort and peace from theirs also.

Prayers to her family. I have so many years of fun memories of her at the bowling alley on Monday nights and trips to the Florida State tournaments. She was a wonderful lady.

Becky was my bowling partner for many state tournaments. Even though we never placed in the ‘money’, we were first in the ‘fun’ category. She was a great partner and an even better friend. I will truly miss her saying, “Now Trina” and proceed to tell me I needed to think of it in a different way. She was my conscience, bowling partner and friend. Rest in God’s arms Becky.

Prayers for Becky’s family. May you find peace and comfort knowing she’s is no longer hurting but rejoicing with our Lord. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. We bowled together for many, many years and had tons of great adventures during State Bowling Tournaments. She was the best room buddy one could have asked for. This is not goodbye, but a we’ll see you again. ❤️

We were blessed to have Becky as a house guest here at Martha’s Vineyard here in Pensacola three times!
Dean was hospitalized here in Pensacola during those times.
She was a delight and inspirational guest to us and those staying here.
She became a very good friend.
Dean and Becky are now together for all the ages!!
