Rhojean “Jean” Smith, 79 of Spring Hill Florida, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Jean was born on December 14, 1941, in Walton County, Florida to Isaiah and Adelia Gomillion. She was a lifelong resident of Okaloosa/Walton Counties and worked many years as a Public Assistance Specialist for The State of Florida until she retired. Jean was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Crestview.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband Eugene W. Smith.
Jean is survived by her son, Rick (Shari) Smith (Troy, Alabama), her daughter, Sandra (David) Imschweiler (Spring Hill, Florida), four grandchildren, Reagan Smith, Chandler Smith-Thomas, Madison Cotten, Christen Harris, one great grandchild and two more on the way, two sisters, Anna Mae Sauls (Fernandina Beach, Florida), Mary Lou (Lucy) Hickox (Fernandina Beach, Florida).
Funeral service will be held Friday, August 6, 2021, beginning at 2:00 p.m., at Live Oak Park Memorial Cemetery in Crestview, with Deacon Mitch Buckelew officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, August 6th from 1 – 2 pm at Brackney Funeral Service Chapel.
In Lieu of Flowers all donations you can donate to the First Baptist Church of Crestview Building Fund.

It was my Blessing to have known Jean as my friend for many years. She was very knowledgeable at her job and helped so many people. I was one of them. She was always smiling and happy to see you. She will be missed.
