Richard Daniel Brooks age 22 of Tallahassee passed away on October 1, 2020. He was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia on November 06, 1997 and was raised in Panama City and moved to Tallahassee in 2020.
Richard worked as a Field Technician at Fielder Tree Service of Tallahassee. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed working on anything mechanical and loved music.
He was preceded in death by his Nana and PawPaw Cotton and Ann Boyd.
Richard is survived by his parents Tim and Angie Brooks, two brothers Aaron Brooks and Josh Brooks. Grandparents Robert and Beverly Brooks and Victoria Brooks and Great Grandmother Cela “Mimere” Vellines. As well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family.
Daniel always had a huge smile on his face and had a loud infectious laugh. He always wanted to make people smile and had the biggest caring heart. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service

You must know how deeply saddened I was over your loss. You and I are the best of friends and I dare say you were a brother to me. I will miss you so very much.
I could always rely on you whenever I needed help, whether a phone call away you were always so willing to help me calm me down make me laugh I came to trust your judgment and wisdom as well and your stupid advice.
He was and will always be a great man and I know our lives will never be the same without you I could never find a better and more caring friend.
He has left us with so many wonderful memories. I will cherish them forever. I love you Richard

My heart hurts for you both, although I never got to meet Daniel I know he had to have been one heck of a guy. After all look at his parents. Tim, Angie, Aaron, Josh, (and Bebe), Daniel was and always will be so special and precious in your lives. I wish I would have gotten to meet him. I can see the twinkle in his eye in all of his pictures and I just know he was a great young man. May you find strength in each other and push forward in what you know Daniel would want for each of you.
