Robert L. “Bob†Young Jr.
November 3, 1945 – July 1, 2020
Robert L. Young Jr, 74, of Crestview, FL, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at home with his family at his side. Bob was born November 3, 1945, in Quincy, MS, he moved to the area over 40 years ago. Bob was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert & Lucille Young, and sister: Edith Cato. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years: Gail Young, three sons: Bobby Young, Byron O’Malley, Patrick O’Malley, three daughters: Susan O’Malley, Sandy Van Houtan, April Madden, two sisters: Cathy Brock, Frances Horton, 14 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 9th, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, beginning at 11am with Patrick O’Malley officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10 to 11am at the funeral home.

Bob,I am so happy you came into my friend Gail and her family’s life.you were the male figure. They all deserved.you Gabe them unconditional love ,and was the best husband,and grandfather that any of them could ever asked for.i know you will watch over all of them,especially our sweet Gail ad I know she will continue to care and grow your family like the two of you have always done.
