Steven Dewayne Watts

Steven Dewayne Watts, 53, of Crestview, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2021 in Fort Walton Beach Florida. Mr. Watts was born on December 17, 1967 in Anniston, Alabama and lived in Fort Walton Beach Florida until 14 years ago when he moved to Crestview. Steven was a talented musician and excelled in playing the drums. He has played with Charlie Daniels, Wet Willie, Red Moon Travelers and the Allman Brothers. Another love of Steven’s was painting, his mother has them displayed in her living room for all to enjoy.
Steven is preceded in death by his father, James Watts. Steven is survived by his mother Dee Higgins, Two Children, Brother Skyler (Becka) Higgins, Nephew, Damien, Niece, Lily, cousin, Candy Johnson.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, beginning at 2:00pm, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, with Chaplain Charlie Chaplin officiating. Burial to follow in Almarante Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 1 to 2 pm at the funeral home.
