I had the honor of knowing Tammy for the entirety of her cancer journey, as she and I met during her first treatment. We became fast friends and shared our experiences, support and hope. She was a fighter, eternally optimistic, and hilariously funny. My life is richer and fuller for having known Tammy and I am so thankful for her kindness, friendship and love. I know we will see each other again, but miss her in the here and now.

I am so very sorry Mike. I know that Tammy loved you dearly way back in high school. Always so sweet and soft spoken. Tall with her beautiful blonde hair. Both of you and Tammy like Jim and I being of the Class of ‘83, we have kept in touch through our class reunions over the years and Facebook. We have seen her pictures of your boys, your home, your pets, your Florida Gators and your Crestview Bulldog, and all the fish she has caught. She loved her life. I know her absents will be so missed by you, her family, and close friends the most but her absents at our class reunions will be sorely missed, it’s been Mike and Tammy for so long. Just know our classmates are giving you the biggest hug. ❤️ Carolyn and Jim Smith Class of ‘83
